Solstice

In England, New Zealand and Australia, sweet peas have always been sown both in autumn and in spring. If you'd like to try this too, it's advisable to start by testing varieties that are early-flowering and were originally developed for cultivation in the Southern Hemisphere. They require fewer hours of sunlight per day and therefore bloom before many other varieties.

During the 2025-26 season, we will be experimenting with early varieties and will gradually gain more knowledge on how to cultivate them. 

In addition to the early Solstice series, 'Piggy Sue', 'High Society' and 'Nuance' are also early-flowering. All are excellent cut flower varieties.
