About me

A long time ago, I trained as a fashion designer at Beckmans College of Design. That education has been an important foundation for everything I have done in my professional life, which has mainly revolved around theater and craft.

I have been passionate about gardening and plants in my free time for almost my entire life, and over time, it has become increasingly important to me. My nearly 60-year-long love of growing, which began with a few cucumber seeds in my hand, has brought me many joyful encounters and moments, a great deal of knowledge—but no formal education. And that might be just as well, because if I had, I might have been told that what I have done was impossible!

When I started my little one-woman business over ten years ago and began importing sweet pea seeds, I could never have imagined the enthusiasm with which it would be received. Now, my waking hours are spent growing flowers, counting seeds, packing orders, taking photographs, and writing texts.

I manage my Instagram account myself, where I stay connected with everyone out there growing sweet peas. I write about what is most relevant that day and sometimes about other beautiful things that interest me.
