The sweet pea 'Matucana' is a more vigorous growing variety of Cupani. Probably from the 1920s. Probably came with the Spaniards to Peru and the village of Matucana.
'Matucana' has a rich spicy, peppery scent with a body of neroli, ginger and bergamot with hints of cardamom.
