A Swedish umami bomb with a deep and soft character.
This miso is fermented with organic Swedish snow peas – a classic Nordic legume with a rich, slightly nutty flavour. The result is a round and balanced miso with distinct umami and mild sweetness.
Grey pea miso is particularly good in soups, stews and slow cookers but is equally great in a vinaigrette or whisked into butter for roasted vegetables. A small spoonful goes a long way and adds depth without taking over.
With its slightly lower salt content than many traditional misos, it is easy to use and simple to enjoy – both for the experienced miso user and for those trying it for the first time.
